Chinese Poker is a game for 2-4 players, each dealt 13 cards with which to develop 3 poker hands - the Back Hand, the Middle Hand and the Front Hand.
Back Hand: Contains 5 cards; must rank higher than any other hand.
Middle Hand: Contains 5 cards; must rank lower than the Back Hand, but higher than the Front Hand.
Front Hand: Contains 3 Cards (Straights/Flushes do not count); must rank lower than all other hands.
Bets are not placed, but paid in units depending on which players your hand beats and loses to. Chinese Poker uses Scoring to determine bets won/lost. If playing with 4 players, and your Back hand beats two players, but loses to the third, you receive 2 points/units from the beaten players, and lose 1 unit/point to the winning hand. The player who beat all other player will receive a unit/point from everyone.
Chinese Poker Rules - Surrender Once your hands are developed, in most Chinese Poker games, you may choose to play on, or Surrender. A Surrender costs 2 units per player, but is better than being Scooped (losing 3 units to every player).
